- Round 1 – May 23–25, Lake Dargin (Węgorzewo)
- Round 2 – July, PPJK Mrągowo (Lake Czos)
- Round 3 – August, Sztynort (Lake Mamry)
The league is open to teams of varying skill levels – a great opportunity to try your hand at racing without giving up your holiday cruise.
Opening of the Sailing Season – Masuria 2026
Traditionally, on the first weekend of May, May 1–2, 2026, the official opening of the Great Masurian Lakes season takes place in Mikołajki, Giżycko and Wioska Żeglarska. It's a symbolic start to the Masurian events calendar: the first launches of the season, yacht parades and social gatherings of crews that draw sailors from all over Poland.
18th Integration Sailing Regatta – Giżycko
The Masurian Sailing School is organising the 18th Integration Sailing Regatta on Lake Kisajno from April 30 to May 2, 2026. The event combines sporting competition with the idea of inclusion – crews of very different skill levels line up at the start, and the atmosphere is more festive than strictly competitive.
Galindian King's Cup Regatta – September 2026
One of the most interesting regattas of the Masurian season: the Galindian King's Cup Regatta will take place from September 16–20, 2026. The route leads through the most picturesque waters of the Great Masurian Lakes: Sztynort – Giżycko – Górkło – Wilkasy – Piękny Brzeg – Węgorzewo – Sztynort. It's an ideal event for those who want to end the season with a bang, taking advantage of lower prices and calmer lakes.
Polish Championship for Sailors with Disabilities – Giżycko
From June 23–25, 2026, Giżycko will host the 31st Polish Championship for Sailors with Disabilities in adapted classes. Giżycko, one of Masuria's sailing hubs, provides excellent conditions for this event thanks to its accessible marina infrastructure and the welcoming atmosphere of the local sailing community.
How to combine a charter with a regatta?
If you'd like to take part in one of the Masurian regatta events, keep a few practical tips in mind:
- Book your yacht in advance – July and August are peak months in Masuria
- Check the regatta rules – some events are open to chartered crews
- Choose a marina close to the start location – e.g. Giżycko, Mikołajki or Węgorzewo
- Plan at least a week-long charter, so you can take part in the regatta and still have time for sightseeing
