A Weekend Yacht in Masuria – Is It Possible?

Weekly charters are the classic choice in Masuria – but can you rent a yacht for just a weekend? Yes, although with certain conditions. Below we explain when this is possible, how much it costs, and how to plan a weekend cruise from our port in Wilkasy.

When are weekend charters available?

At MUNDI CZARTER, weekend charters (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday) are available in two situations:

• Outside the main season – May, September and October. During these months we're happy to arrange shorter charters, prices are lower, and Masuria is still beautiful.
• Last-minute offers – dates that open up during the season, which appear in our Last Minute section with discounts of up to 30%. There are also sometimes free days between bookings that can be combined into a weekend.

In July and August we only run weekly charters (Saturday–Saturday) – this is peak season, when every yacht is booked months in advance.

How much does a weekend yacht cost?

Weekend charter prices (2–4 days) depend on the period and the yacht. As a rough guide:

• Antila 26cc / 26.2: from 600–900 PLN per weekend (May, September)
• Antila 27 / 28.2: from 800–1,200 PLN per weekend
• Antila 30: from 1,000–1,500 PLN per weekend

Which yacht for a weekend for two people?

For a weekend cruise for a couple, the Antila 26cc or Antila 26.2 works best – compact, cheap to run, yet offering a comfortable cabin with berths and full equipment. A couple can sail independently around the Great Masurian Lakes in the following format: Friday evening – leaving the port and spending the night on the water, Saturday – a full day of sailing, Sunday – return and hand back the yacht.

Suggested weekend route from Wilkasy

Friday evening – departure and overnight in Giżycko

You pick up the yacht in the afternoon and sail 5 km to the centre of Giżycko. An evening at a marina-side restaurant. Overnight on the yacht.

Saturday – Giżycko → Mikołajki (approx. 30 km)

A full day of sailing across Lake Niegocin, Tałty and Ryńskie. Evening in Mikołajki – the promenade, dinner, overnight stay.

Sunday – return to Wilkasy (approx. 25 km)

A morning in Mikołajki, then return via Lake Śniardwy or Lake Bełdany. Return the yacht by 4:00 pm (for short charters – arranged individually).
